If someone has the history of the 25th Va Cavalry from the mostly out-of-print regimental series, could you please let me know if there's anything in the book about some of these men being "detailed" to the Nitre Bureau, to work the saltpeter caves in s.w. Virgina, where many of the men were from. (Dekalb District, Scott County )
