Residence was not listed;
Enlisted on 7/20/1861 at Fort Powhatan, VA as a Private.
On 7/20/1861 he mustered into VA 5th Inf Battn
He was transferred out on 9/25/1862
On 9/25/1862 he transferred into "G" Co. VA 53rd Infantry
He died of disease on 11/22/1862 at Lynchburg, VA
(Date of death also shown as 11/20/62. Died of pneumonia.)
