* This company was successively designated as Captain Imboden’s, Captain Balthis’ and Captain Garber’s Company Virginia Light Artillery. It served for a time in the Battalion of Reserve Artillery commanded by Major Jones and Cutshaw, which were temporary field organizations composed of independent companies. It was also known as the Staunton Artillery
