Thanks for all the good info. This site is the most helpful of any I use and I appreciate you. I was hoping to find more info about the Markham Station Skirmishes in the first week of Nov 1862 but it looks like O.M. Smith was not present in Markham. My Pvt Thomas Malone died there on 4-5 Nov 1862 and so I am searching for pictures of Co. G or info leading to a burial location on the two Pvt's that died there. Have been through the book "History of the 9th" by Richard Beale which is very helpful but no specific's on the deaths. Thanks again for the info.
