His file consists of some 17 cards, some too faint to read online. There is no record of him on the muster rolls of the regiment.

Thomas N. Culbertson, Private, Company A, 16th Georgia Infantry, enlisted February 4, 1862, mustered in March 28, 1862,
died July 29, 1862 at Danville, Va. leaving no wife or children, description on enlistment: age 17, blue eyes, dark hair, fair complexion, his father Isaael [sp?] R. Culbertson filed claim for settlement of his accounts
