The rectangular CSA buckle is mostly a western army issue item and not commonly found in ANV areas. If the 26th ever went into Tennessee they could have picked up one there. I remember someone saying one of the CSA rectangle buckles was found along White Oak Rd. which is near Five Forks but there is no way to know what regiment the person was in that lost it. If you like the CSA I would use it but the chances of the 26th using them are slim in my opinion. You can't go wrong with a plain iron roller buckle.
