Mauch for 6 months, recorded on December 31, 1861 as absent without leave since November 23, recorded March 15, 1862 as absent, detailed to bake at Stribbling Springs Hospital, January 10, 1862, no further records

Note: There are no subsequent surviving Company F muster rolls on record

The 146th Regiment Virginia Militia (also known as 1st Regiment, 7th Brigade, Virginia Militia) was called out by proclamation of the Governor of Virginia, dated Jly 13, 1861

Enlisted on 9/6/1864 as a Corporal.
On 9/6/1864 he mustered into "A" Co. PA 209th Infantry, USA
