It seems that there were 2 men named William Wallace Byrd. he one in 52nd Va. and Va.Reserves is buried at Oakland Grove Presbyterian Church in Alleghany Co. The one I was inquiring about is buried about 3 miles away in Crown Hill Cem.,Clifton Forge,Va. Per his pension application filed in Louisa Co. in 1902 he was born in Spotsylvania Co. and served in 13th Va.,Company unable to read.
