While CSA rectangular buckles were in use at Petersburg they were scarce as hens teeth. I know of only one dug one and that came from White Oak Road. A better choice would be a plain iron roller buckle, not shiny or chrome plated and made by a good vendor. Belt and buckle are sewn and would have to come from the same place. Brown jean would be OK but IMO one of the natural dyed shades of gray will be more correct and fades to a nice butternut or kaki color when exposed to sun light. Richmond Depot trousers of gray would be OK. The jacket and trouser colors should not match. Why don't you go to this site http://www.angelfire.com/ma4/j_mayo/index.html and look around. Remember, if you buy quality the first time you won't want to upgrade in the future. Stay away from the big box sites and do some looking before you buy.
