The American Civil War Research Database show two who served in CSA units from Missouri. There are 7 Daniel's and one Daniel Browne listed in Arkansas units, two with the middle initial 'C,' one 'E,' and one 'K.'

Barry County, Missouri is just above the Arkansas Northwestern border and Madison Co., Arkansas not too far South, just East of Fayetteville, so you have a lot of choices.

Now, the next place to go would be trying Goggle searches for each of these units, i.e., 34th Arkansas Infantry, etc. Hopefully, from them you might be able to determine the counties from where they were raised.

Two other places to investigate are Missouri in the Civil War and Arkansas in the Civil War. You will find the URLs for these sites conducting Goggle searches.
