I am searching for information on DANIEL THOMAS and his two brothers, WILLIAM AND LEWIS. As per History of Lee County, they enlisted in Washington County as privates in Captain Boswell's Company. Captain Boswell reported that the Company was organized MAy 18, 1861 and the officers were elected unanimously by acclamation, but did not know how or when to report to the organization. He also noted that the Company could furnish horses but was nearly destitute of arms. This report was certified by the Clerk of the County Court of Washington County on July 18, 1861. Captain R.P. Boswell was commissioned July 25,1861(77RD File)

Any help would be greatly appreciated. This family has been very difficult to trace. Their father is believed to be Israel Thomas.
