Re: Parson's Texas Cavalry

Would love to know more about Parson's Brigade, 19th Tx. Cavalry. My great-great grandfather William Woodruff Parks was a Captain in this brigade. His son-in-law John Henry Spalding served as a gunsmith. Col. Watson lead the 19th under Burford; he was also my great-great grandfather. Another great-great, Judge Abraham A. Kemble signed the Texas Secession Proclamation. One or more of his sons I believe also served in Parson's Brigade. Only Parks did not survive the campaign and is buried in an unmarked grave in the Confederate Cemetery in Little Rock. I have a scanned copy of his diary.

Any info or resources you can share would be appreciated.
