Thanks Jerry for the help. I found some old notes where somebody sent me the pension info and stated he served in a unit from Arkansas and was born there, not the man I was looking for.

Every once in a while I catch the wild notion to research for my wife's confederate kin. Her Dad's side is easy as they came to this county in the 1890's from Italy. That ends that area quick fast and in a hurry. Her mother's side, from Texas, consist of the Satterwhite and Rawlins family. I'ts a headache looking through those two groups... and I have tons of notes and resources that were handed to me. Maybe too much LOL!
