Some questions regarding TST(militia) Brigade commanders -

Can anyone provide any information regarding the following?

8th BRIGADE

G. H. Wootten shown as Brig.Gen. in June 1861 (Clarksville Standard 8 June 1861 p.3)
Election held in September 1861
Reorganization of militia in December 1861
No election held in 1863 (Texas Almanac 1863, p.47)
Col. H. F. Murray commanding brigade (Texas Almanac 1864, p.22)
Murray appointed Brig.Gen. in August 1863?
Brigadier commissions abolished by Act of 16 December 1863 although not effectively until Feb/Mar 1864

Questions – when was Wootten first appointed? Was he re-elected in September 1861? Was he re-appointed in December 1861? Did he hold the command through to August 1863?

14th BRIGADE

S. A. Roberts appointed Brig.Gen. in August 1861?
Roberts preceded by Stephen M. Hale
Roberts re-appointed in December 1861when militia reorganized
Superceded by A.E. Pace in March 1862
Brigade temporarily under a Col. Smith in October 1863? (Houston Tri-Weekly Telegraph 5 October 1863 p.1)
Brigade again under Hale? (Texas Almanac 1864 p.22 (Hale spelt as Hall))
Brigadier commissions abolished by Act of 16 December 1863 although not effectively until Feb/Mar 1864

Questions – Was Roberts appointed in August 1861? What was Hale’s original date of appointment? When did Pace cease to serve? Did Hale serve again? If so between what dates did he serve?

I have a lot of information regarding dates for commanders of other brigades, but any info would be welcome.
