Barry Moore Keith was also my gg grandfather. My g grandfather was Barry’s son Nicodemus ( twin of Nathaniel) my grandfather was Johnnie Keith. He and his father and several sibling lived and died in Brownfield, Texas. My Dad was Mickey Don Keith who passed last year at age 70. I live in Round Rock, Texas and have two daughters. I have one brother Jason, who had a daughter and one son Jeremy Keith of Longmont, CO. He has an 8 year old son Orion Keith.
My mother’s father Tomas Smyth was born (1913) and raised in Titus County Texas and found it interesting there were also many Keith’s from there as well. Wondering if there are any ties between the two families.

Also from what I have found I’m a decedent of Judge Nicodemus Keith and would like to know if we are descended from the Scottish Keith’s of Dunnottar Castle. I know the Keith’s lost the castle in 1715 and maybe afterwards traveled to Ireland before coming to America?
I would love any information that you may have. My Dad once had a book of the Keith’s history and genealogy, but have no idea what became of it when he passed.
