possibly two men with the same initials. I have N. L. Pittman, Pvt. Co. E, Timmon's Regt. His name is Noel Lemuel Pittman. I have his death certificate which gives his birth as 1844, Mississippi, death 1934, Bagwell Texas, Rome(home?). Place of burial I am unable to read. I see his enlistment date as 1864 and that he was transferred to McMann's(?) Artillery

I also have N. L. Pittman Co. B, Waul's Texas Legion. I have his CSR which shows that he was surrendered and paroled at Vicksburg. His cards show he enlisted in this unit May 1862.

Are these two N.L. Pittmans one and the same? Can someone direct me to the grave(s) of this(these) men?
