I am looking for a map or any information on a Confederate training camp in Rusk, Cherokee County, Texas. There is a historical marker there but I can't seem to find a map of Rusk or the camp during the civil war. I have used my metal detector in the area and found tons of wagon parts, horse shoes, etc, but no indication of Infantry training. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
