GRADY JR., compiled the material for “Suffering to Silence .” His Great- Grandfather and name-sake , John Grady , who was born in Ireland in 1837, Served in the 29th Texas Cavalry CSA Company B, organized in Denton County, Texas. John C. Grady Jr. is a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, Dallas , Dallas County, Texas.
