The following item from The Weekly Democratic Statesman (Austin, TX) 22 Oct 1874 exactly collaborates Mr. McCue's work.

I scanned through a few hundred pages of newspaper to find this one clue, but Mr. McCue beat me. That's ok, you now have two sources. If you are interested in an account or two of the depot as reported in various papers during the War (Without Geographic Clues), holler and I will be glad to post them here.
