Yes, this seems to be the right man. Here are a few facts that may help you. Nathaniel Walker Busby was born in Madison County, Alabama in 1836 or 1837. In the 1850 census he was living in Mississippi as a 13 year old with a Wilkins Family. He married Sarah Ann Owen in 1853. In 1860 He, Sarah and their two kids were living with a 24 year old man by the name of Stoops in Wheelock, Texas, Roberson County. He was a member of Co, C 15th Texas Infantry, they fought mainly in Middle Tenn. Not sure when Sarah died, but I believe he remarried a Neel girl and raised a few more kids. He also went by N.W., Walker, and Nathan Busby. He died in Roberson County, Texas in 1888.
