I have information that one of my ancestors, Henry Fife, was killed by Cobbs Scouts in and around Port Gibson, Ms in 1865. Henry was only 15-16 year old and I would love to have more info about him. Also on 10 June, 1865 his brother, Ransom C Fife was killed by D A Jones and others and I suspect that the two killings were connected. Any information you can provide will be most appreciated!
