My grandfather fought with the 60th Alabama, but he moved to Texas in 1886. He had a pearl star-shaped pin with TEXAS in gold spelled out on the tips and Co F. 60th Alabama in the center. Does anyone know where this may have been presented? He lived in Alma, Ellis County. He died in July 1916. I know he attended a reunion in Macon Ga a couple of years before he died, but I didn't think they would have a TEXAS pin.
