I am interested in learning more about activities during the civil war at Velasco and Quintana, such as units, strengths, actions, day-to-day activities of the typical unit/soldier, morale of the soldiers and the general public, etc.

I am interested in these topics in general and also specifically related to the 13th Texas Infantry (Bate's Regiment).

I am familiar with Confederates on the Caney, by Bobby McKinney but I am looking for other, perhaps more obscure publications/references/personal account/etc.
