Sure! Toledo Bend Reservoir is a huge lake formed by the damming of the Sabine River between Texas and Louisiana. It goes up almost to Logansport, Louisiana and the dam is just above Burr Ferry. According to Wikipedia it has an area of 185,000 acres, the largest man-made body of water in (or partially in) Texas, the largest in the South, and the fifth largest (surface acre) in the United States. With the creation of Toledo Bend many early communities, ferries, and Native American sites went underwater, including some of the places shown on these Civil War era maps.
