When researching to find a particular person with the surname "Scarborough" I happened to locate a single CW record which shows "J.M. Scarborough, Pvt Co G, Tex. This only record shows J.M. Scarborough "Appears on a Register of
General Hospital, Howard's Grove, Richmond, Virginia.

Admitted Nov. 4, 1864.

There is no other info on that single record. I have no idea where he lived in Texas, where he enrolled, where he enlisted, or where one could have signed up in Co. G.
