Danny, the info that Bill provided was also given to me by Marvin Don Majors (a distant cousin from John Ellis Mooring and his third wife Easter Jane). Don lived in the Rains Co area and I lost contact with him after 2006. I have a postcard from 1900's from a Swepston in Point Tx (can't remember the first name off hand) telling my great grand father James Mooring about the death of his father John Ellis Mooring and also another postcard about the death of James' brother-in-law John Gilford. I believe my postcard Swepston was a doctor and was married to one of John Ellis' daughters. I have been to the grave site in Point Tx and saw the Mooring plot with Swepston headstones in it.
