That is great! I got his military service record from the National Archives and he joined on April 2 1862. He was the Brigade Teamster. From the state of TX I have the Confederate Pension Application of his wife Sarah Gullick. The only new info is his date of death August 5, 1877. My ggreat grandfather was James Cleon. I will keep looking for birth info as I live in GA too.
