I am doing research on Parsons Texas Cavalry during September and October of 1864 while they were stationed in South Arkansas, specifically near Monticello, Arkansas. Any information about General Wharton or General William Sreele who I believe was in command of Parsons Cavalry during this time would be appreciated.
