George Whitmore's sister was Effie J. Davis of Bellview, Rusk County. Her husband was William Davis. I think, but can't prove, that his nickname was probably "Hog" and that's why Harriet Whitmore said she could go to his house, a friend and relative, and if she was bothered there in any way somebody would be hurt.
