John W. Allinder, age 34, 6' 3", Blue eyes, Brown hair, enlisted as a Private in Captain John M. Stone's Company, Burford's Regiment Texas Cavalry* April 2, 1862 at Waco, Texas by John M. Stone for the duration of the war, furloughed on Surgeon's certificate and received $50 for transportation to go from Des Arc [Ark] to Erath County, Texas April 9, 1863, no further records, there are no further company muster rolls extant, hence we cannot ascertain his subsequent history through these records

* The company subsequently became Company H, 19th Regiment Texas Cavalry
