I have just recently discovered that three of my GGGrandfathers brothers in law were also in the Texas 25th Calvary I believe Company B. Daniel McCracken, Ansel McCracken and David McCracken were in Company G. Joels sons Daniel Joel Carey and John Carey as and James Ansel Carey also served in the war but were in different Units.
