Pridgen's Company, 5th Regiment, Texas Mounted Volunteers**, October 16, 1862 at Austin, captured June 28, 1863 at Donaldsonville, Louisiana, paroled at Camp Lee near Richmond, Virginia July 19, 1863, February 1864 "In charge of horses," no further records

**This company subsequently became Company H, 5th Regiment Texas Cavalry
