I am trying to determine the fate of Henry S Richardson of Angelina County, Texas. He served in Company A, 6th Battalion, Texas Cavalry in the Civil War. I think that he must have been killed or wounded so badly he died before 1870. He and his wife are listed in "Texas Confederate Script Grantees" which I believe means that he died or was wounded badly. I have been told that he was in a hospital in Alexandria, LA during the war. He is in the Angelina County census in 1860 with his family, but missing in the 1870 census.
