J.E. Hadden enlisted in Co. F Brown's Batt'n. Tex Cav. as 3 Corporal, April 10,1860 at Bernard Station, for the war. Transfered to Mosley's 7th Field Light Artillery. Dec 13,1863. Joined at Camp Wharton, Texas. Paroled August 1865 at Hempstead, Texas. Shows residence as Natches, Miss.
