My G-G-G-Grandfather, King Thetford, information given to me from another family member, was a commersary agent during the Civil War, and enlisted in (I think) Louisiana. I would like very much to try and confirm this, and learn more about what he did, and also to find out if there are any records of him being a commersary agent. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
