Ed,Are you sure thats not W.P.Kizby?I know all about Kizby. He's buried in a remote cemetery down near Morgan Mill in Erath County.I talked to many people who knew him before he died. His picture is in the Ovilla History Book as part of a group of veterans at a Lancaster,Texas Reunion. The names of the veterans are given but not in order with the picture.I had to get those who knew Kizby to identify him. They remembered him well and had a strange story to tell.It seems that Kizby could cure sick horses without even seeing them. The locals would just go to Uncle Bill as they called him and describe the problem and then go back and the horse would be cured.I know it seems very odd,but thats what they all said.I live in Ovilla.
