This is very interesting. If it is him, and the information on the Joseph sounds right except for the spelling of the name; that may be the name of his daughter from his new wife. I know when he left Kentucky he had a daughter and a son Augustus Lee. Our information is that the daughter was the oldest, though. Thanks very much for responding. I can access family search but not Ancestry.com. Everything on the internet seems to go back to Ancestry.com. Do you find a membership in it to be very useful, given the cost?
