VanZandt, Wood, Kaufman & Smith County Deserters

re: VanZandt, Wood, Kaufman & Smith Counties Deserters
.
I am searching for the families of the 185 deserters who re-enrolled in 1863 in the Confederacy in Bonham, Fannin County, Texas.
.
Below is a listing of the CSA military units from which men from VanZandt, Wood, Smith, and Kaufman Counties had deserted then enrolled in the Confederate Brush Battalion. ..Thus far, I have identified 185 men, of 496 total, who were mostly from VanZandt, Wood, Kaufman, and Smith Counties. ..Most were from Denton, Hunt and Collin Counties. ..There were about 2,000 men in the bush when 496 men voluntarily enrolled in the Confederacy, AGAIN.
