You are a descendant of a soldier from Tennessee - Archer's Brigade
in the Confederate Army at the Battle of Fredericksburg

This is an open invitation to all descendants of the soldiers who fought in the Battle of Fredericksburg in the counterattack against Meade’s Division to join us in a battlefield walk to recapture the action of that day – December 13, 1862. You are invited to join us in Fredericksburg Virginia on Sunday December 9, 2012…. A five hour program free for descendants.

Sunday 9:00AM to 11:30 AM – The Union Assault
Lunch Break – at nearby PUB
Sunday 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM – The Confederate Counterattack

Name Tags, Maps, Wartime Photographs, Soldier Biographies and
commentary will be provide to those who pre register
We will be walking the battlefield.

The organizers are now in communication with over 300 descendants regarding this program. Individuals as far away as Washington State, Texas, Michigan and Tennessee have confirmed their attendance. We expect
a large participation on the 150th anniversary of this event. There is no charge for this event.

A packet of information on lodging and specific meeting points will be sent to all those who register before December 4, 2012
