Re: Confederates in Mount Olivet Cemetery

Gregg: I feel the very same way as you regarding the Hermitage's Veteran Cemetery. Unfortunately, if it is on their land I guess they can enact any type of entrance requirement they wish. I have only been out there a few times, but I seem to remember entering by the back way once without going through the Hermitage.

ON Benj. F. Bradley I did not find him listed in the original burials documents kept by undertaker Henry C. Cornelius during the war. I have been working on his and others listing the Nashville Dead for about 10 years now and I am in the process of publishing these Confederate Deaths. I checked the Kentucky Adj. Gen. Records (Confederate Rosters) for Co. A. 7th Kentucky Infantry, but did not find him listed. Is there another regiment he may be listed with? Did he die during the war, if he was a Veteran of the War, he would be in another listing of Veterans, etc. I am eager to solve this question. Thanks, Tim Burgess
