I have been doing research on my grandfather William C. Kennedy born in Smith Co. T. in 1861 I can find no record of his father. My greatgrandfather may have servrd in the war hopefuly as a confederate. It has been suggested that he may have been killed in the war. I tried to open the Memorial Roll site but could not. If any one out there can help I surely would appreciate it.
