New Perryville/16th Tenn Book

FYI,

I have just completed, "The Battle of Perryville and the Sixteenth Tennessee Infantry Regiment: A R-evaluation."

Before moving on to Volume 2 of their regimental history, I realized how much material I had for this battle alone. Believing their role has been incorrectly interpreted for many years, I took on the job of revising history. As hated as it is, it doesn't change the outcome, only the formula that brought it about. The regiment has been interpreted as hitting the Federal center there, and it became my job to prove otherwise based on their accounts, the accounts of Maney's men and Federal reports.

If you like Perryville or the 16th Tennessee, give it a shot. It is 216 pages with over 25 battle maps with bibliography and index.

Merry Christmas!

Jamie
