Mostly it would concern people on the other side of the state line...William Hollland Thomas etc...though there is some mention of Tellico Plains, Coker Creek etc. .

My people were in the Cherokee County area..Unaka and Upper Beaverdam... just after the Indian removal. Some married some kin of Wacheesee so you could say they were there a lot longer. That's along the Joe Brown Highway that runs from Murphy NC through Tellico Plains to Vonroe TN.

I'm trying to find information on John Crawford Vaughn after the war. Not that much info. that I can find.
