dave white was in the civil war and fought for the south. he was married in morgan co tenn to margaret bryant cir 1859/60. althought they lived in roane. they had a daughter elinor. i know that he fought at kings mt. i have his small bible. sometime during that time someone came and told his wife that he had been killed. and sometime after this she eithor married again or was living with someone. dave came home and found her with a child that was not his. she explained and he left. he went to morgan co and sometime later married sarah f watts and raised a family. i can not find any information on him during the war. his father was john white born in 1806 in tenn and mother was rachael hall. would appreciate any help.
