Eliza Claybrooke Memorial

My granddaughter applied and was accepted to Vanderbilt University Graduate School. She has applied for a scholarship to the Eliza Claybrooke Memorial Scholarship through her 3rd G-grandfather, John R. W. Lannom, who served in the Civil War as a Private in Company B, 11th Tennessee Cavalry.

This is what the scholarship requires:

-My relationship to this person. I HAVE THIS DOCUMENTED THROUGH BIRTH/DEATH CERTIFICATES
-Date and place of his enlistment. I DON'T HAVE THIS. WHERE DO I OBTAIN THIS?
-Date and place of his honorable discharge. I DON'T HAVE THIS. WHERE DO I OBTAIN THIS?

The rules governing the award of Eliza Claybrooke scholarship:
-The person on whose record this applicant is based must have been
honorably discharged. -- DON'T HAVE THIS BUT AM FINDING OUT HOW, WHERE
-The discharge certificates of certified copy of the discharged
certificate must accompany the application. -- DON'T HAVE THIS BUT AM FINDING OUT HOW, WHERE
-Birth certificates or related documentation must accompany this
application to show lineage. -- HAVE ALL THIS -- DONE

So that's all the information we need to gather together by March 19, 2010. Would the TN Archives have what is needed?

Thank you for any direction or help you can give. If anyone has access to this information, I would gladly reimburse for time, copies and postage.

Thank you,
Carole Lannom
