Re: Beech Grove Confederate Cemetery, Coffee Count

Thank you both for your replies. From what I have been able to find out it appears that around 1984 a farmer somewhere in Coffee County was clearing a fenceline and discovered a pile of old headstones, one of which was Marshall Ferguson's veterans stone. He turned that one over to the local SCV camp and they placed it in the Beech Grove Cemetery at that time. The rest of the stones were probably other members of my family that lived around Manchester, but no one knows what happened to the other stones or where the farm was located.
Thanks again for your replies
