The priest who served Huntsville, AL in the 1860's is Jeremiah F. Tracy (Trecy/Treacy) according to records of the diocese of Mobile. There is a historic marker outside the parish church he founded (St. Mary of the Visitation) in Huntsville with his name on it and the local KC chapter is named in his honor.
Perhaps the search for Patrick Trecy returned little results because the first name was wrong. Or maybe there are two Fr. Tracys.
