J.G. Dent. Present May-June 1862 muster roll listed 1st Corporal until March 1, 1862 then Orderly Sergeant till May 27, 1862. Re-enlisted May 24, 1862 at Powell's Valley, Tennessee by Col. Ashby for 2 years or duration of the war. Present June-August 1862 muster roll. September-October 1862 muster roll listed: Discharged and final statement given October 9, 1862.
