The Friends of Fort Defiance will be hosting the 3rd annual "March to the Past" living history event on the grounds of Fort Defiance in Clarksville on April 22, 2007 from 1 to 5 PM. Civilian and military reenactors will demonstrate aspects of daily life in 1860's Tennessee. There will be displays pertaining to the typical daily rations of troops, and medical care of the time, as well as infantry and artillery demonstrations.
