My great,great grandfather served in the 3rd. Tn. mounted infantry Co. I. He was born in Decatur Tn. He inlisted in Co I. as a 2nd. lieutenantand was made made the Adjutant of the Regiment in 1864. His name is David Mossengale Blevins. He was captured in Vicksburg Ms. in July 1863. I would like to find any information on his Regiment. I have some information on him,also i would like to find someone with pictures of him or his company or regiment. I am a member of Sons of Confederate Veterans camp A.J.
